When you arrive, grab your horse from one of the lush grass pastures or well-maintained limestone paddocks. Many of our horses go out with a friend to promote mental wellbeing, so you may need two sets of hands to get them out!
Take your time grooming your horse and bonding with them in the quiet aisles. Tack lockers are conveniently located just a few steps away, and the aisles are kept clean and organized. In the summer, enjoy the automated fly spray system that keeps pests to a minimum; in the winter, the aisles are heated to a comfortable 55 degrees.
Once you're all tacked up, you can head to the arenas. The smaller indoor arena is perfect for teaching our riders to react quickly and effectively, and makes it easier for the instructor to observe and correct mistakes. The larger outdoor arena is great for practicing coursework during the competition season, and has a breathtaking view of the sunset.
Family and friends are welcome to watch the indoor lessons from the viewing room, where they can enjoy a cup of coffee or hot chocolate made with the Keurig, or help themselves to a snack from the bin. Alternatively, they can relax on the hill in our outdoor arena, soaking up the sunshine and a gentle breeze.
We provide lessons to those located in Minooka, Yorkville, Oswego, Plainfield, Shorewood, Plattville, Lisbon, Channahon, Morris, Crest Hill, Joliet, New Lenox, Lockport, Mokena, Romeoville, Bolingbrook, and Naperville.
