Batchelor Equestrian Riding School
General Information
We currently have a team of over 20 young riders in training with us, as well as a group of adults, who are passionate about learning and growing their relationship with horses. We believe in fostering a supportive, drama-free environment where all riders can feel welcome, confident, and encouraged.
Our goal is to develop well-rounded riders who are not only effective and knowledgeable in the saddle, but also proficient in groundwork and horsemanship skills. We strive to create an environment that fosters success, allowing each rider to grow with confidence, skill, and a deep respect for both their horses and the sport.

Our location allows us to offer truly private lessons, giving riders the instructor’s full attention, often with no other riders in the arena. While a boarder may occasionally be flatting their horse at the same time, there is never more than one instructor in the arena during lessons.
Our lesson horses receive excellent care, with a strong focus on their physical and mental wellbeing. We are careful never to overwork them and always respect their limits. Horses are not worked when sick, unsound, or during extreme weather conditions, ensuring they stay healthy, comfortable, and happy in their work.
